The Role As the Senior Director of North America Marketing, you’ll translate our global go-to-market strategy into focused priorities and programs for North America. In this highly visible role, you’ll represent regional nuances and needs in global planning and optimize execution across market segments - fuelling new business growth, deepening customer engagement, and driving revenue. You will lead our eight-person North America Field Marketing team and influence partners across Revenue Marketing and Corporate Marketing to deliver an integrated regional plan. Partnering with Sales, Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Alliances, Customer Success, Product, and our global marketing community, you’ll help make Cornerstone OnDemand a top-of-mind vendor for C-suite executives and senior business leaders across North America. What You’ll Do Translate Strategy into Regional Priorities: Turn global go-to-market strategy into bold, data-informed North America priorities and programs that accelerate demand generation, pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and expansion. Build & Inspire Teams: Coach, empower, and develop the North America Field Marketing team, fostering a culture focused on impact, creativity, and growth. Drive GTM Alignment: Act as the connective tissue between Field Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Alliances, and Customer Success, influencing integrated go‑to‑market execution that delivers impact for customers and prospects. Oversee Campaigns & Innovation: Direct the regional activation of multi‑channel, integrated campaigns, prioritizing and adapting programs for local market dynamics while championing experimentation and new ideas. Measure & Optimize: Set clear regional KPIs, track performance, and translate analytics into actionable insights - continually optimizing our approach for maximum ROI. Manage Resources & Partnerships: Oversee North America Field Marketing budget allocation and agency/vendor relationships, delivering efficient, high‑impact programs. Be Our Regional Brand Ambassador: Represent Cornerstone OnDemand at key industry events, conferences, and partner forums, proudly amplifying our brand and values. What You’ll Bring 12+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience , with at least 6 years leading high-performing teams regionally or globally within innovative, fast‑paced environments. Significant experience in B2B SaaS marketing across multiple market segments, with HCM or related technology experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success translating global priorities into regional plans that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth. Strategic vision grounded in analytical rigor; you connect data, insights, and creativity to shape and prioritize go‑to‑market plans. Experience leading diverse, distributed teams with a collaborative, growth‑oriented style. Track record of effective cross‑functional leadership and influence - aligning Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams around shared goals. Deep familiarity with marketing technology stacks - including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and digital/social tools. Strong business acumen, with an eye for efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement. Exceptional communicator - adept at articulating complex ideas, inspiring teams, and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Experience operating in dynamic, multinational organizations; cultural savvy in engaging diverse customer and partner audiences.
