Director, Dual Enrollment ProgramsJOB SUMMARY
The Director of Dual Enrollment Programs is the primary administrator and provides leadership and coordination for the High School Advantage dual credit program’s development and administration. The Director builds relationships with high schools across Texas to increase dual credit enrollment by assessing the needs of high schools’ students and school districts, coordinating with academic departments and colleges to provide courses in response to those needs, implementing marketing and promotion strategies to ensure participation, providing admission and registration support services, and overseeing orientation and administrative support for students, parents and faculty. This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the dual credit student experience by establishing policies and procedures, and student engagement through current research and best practices. The Director works in collaboration with academic department Chairs and Program Directors to identify, credential, and evaluate High School Advantage dual credit program instructors, to evaluate course effectiveness, and to ensure compliance with standards established by the University, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), and SACSCOC accreditation standards relating to dual enrollment policy and practice. The Director creates systems to track and document that dual credit guidelines are being met, is responsive and provides recommendations to changing technologies and advances in delivery. The Director serves as the academic liaison across campus and community partners for the Office of Curriculum and Strategic Initiatives for all matters pertaining to dual enrollment programming. Work is performed under general supervision and performance is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Vice Provost, Curriculum and Strategic Initiatives Supervises: Coordinator, Dual Enrollment and P-16 Initiatives, clerical staff and student assistants ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but not limited to the following: * Provides leadership and oversight for the development, expansion, and administration of the University’s dual credit program in accord with standards established by the University, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), SACSOC, and the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP). * Directs activities and programs related to the dual credit program, including student orientation, registration procedures, academic advising, instructor training and development, establishing course schedules in collaboration with academic departments, assessment, and data reporting. * Promotes the growth, development, marketing, and administration of the dual credit * Develops and implements an advising and communication plan that assists parents and students to better understand dual credit and make informed decisions relative to education and career goals and works with high schools to establish the value of providing dual credit through Texas Woman's University. * Contributes to the achievement of the University's recruitment and retention goals by * Works cooperatively with marketing and promotions staff to develop and implement * Develops relationships with high schools throughout the state, regularly visits them to represent the university in a professional manner, and effectively communicates with students, parents, and school staff using technology-based enrollment processes to ensure customer satisfaction and the best enrollment results by census date. * Works in collaboration with academic department Chairs and Program Directors to identify, credential, and evaluate High School Advantage instructors, to evaluate course effectiveness, and to ensure compliance with THECB and SACSCOC accreditation standards relating to dual enrollment policy and practice. * Sets dual credit objectives and metrics that will lead and inform the program. Data is used to track student enrollment patterns, spot trends, and choose a course of action. * Manages employee to maintain effective work procedures and outreach initiatives to boost efficiency, constituent satisfaction, and top-of-mind awareness of Texas Woman’s University dual credit program. * Serves as the academic liaison across campus and with high school and district partners, and professional organizations for the Office of Curriculum and Strategic Initiatives for all matters pertaining to dual enrollment programming and P-16 initiatives. * Collaborates with colleagues in outreach, oversees and coordinates direct reports, and fosters partnerships with campus and off-campus organizational units, particularly local schools and school districts, in order to help the university achieve its goals. * Serves on various representative institutional and external committees representing the Office of Curriculum and Strategic Initiatives and Academic Affairs. program, including the development and dissemination of guidelines for instructors, schools, students, and academic departments, making presentations at schools, initiating formal agreements with schools, recommending policy and procedural changes, overseeing orientation activities for students and instructors, coordinating with academic departments at the University, solving problems, and responding to constituencies on time. identifying opportunities in the marketplace for expansion and collaborating with academic departments, the offices of admissions, registration, computer services, and enrollment management to build a diverse and responsive dual credit program that encourages dual credit students to consider attending the University upon graduation. effective recruitment and marketing strategies related to the dual credit program, including assistance with web content, web page translation, preparation of publications, distribution of brochures and catalogs, etc.ADDITIONAL DUTIES
* Prepares data and reports required for university effectiveness, state (THECB) and regional accreditation (SACSCOC) compliance. * Continues to be knowledgeable and current through independent professional reading, networking with peers, taking professional development courses, and participating in training or courses as recommended by the Vice Provost for Curriculum and Strategic Initiatives. * Performs tasks aligned with the university’s mission, vision, goals, values, and priorities which contributes to the success of Access and Outreach overall.- Performs other duties as requested.

EDUCATION
Master’s degree required.EXPERIENCE
Five years’ professional experience in an education environment, preferably in higher education with diverse populations of students. Knowledge of dual credit programs and student development theory preferred. Experience in program development, project management, decision-making, administrative, and management responsibilities preferred.REQUIREMENT
