Are you a strategic sales leader who thrives on building meaningful customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and shaping account strategy at the highest level? Lakeside Foods is seeking a National Account Manager - Retail Sales to accelerate our retail business and deliver exceptional results with some of the most influential customers in the industry. In this highly visible role, you'll own key account strategy, deploy customer-specific business plans, and serve as the face of Lakeside to major retail partners. - Develop, maintain, and expand existing retail accounts under the direction of the VP of Retail Sales
- Identify and pursue new account opportunities to support business growth
- Create and execute account-specific strategies to deliver volume and profitability goals
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and analyze market, category, and competitor trends
- Drive customer-related projects to completion with excellence
- Represent Lakeside's products professionally and build strong customer partnerships
- Leverage syndicated data to extract insights and inform category and business planning
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold Lakeside's high standards of conduct
- Fully participate in Teamwork at Lakeside (TAL) to support collaboration and continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred but not required
- Minimum 10 years of sales management experience across retail, wholesale, and broker channels
- Strong financial acumen, including forecasting and interpreting financial statements
- Proven ability to build and deepen relationships with major retailers
- Ability to align tactics with both Lakeside's strategic vision and customer strategies
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and internet-based tools
- Strong business etiquette, professionalism, and personal integrity
- Dedication to teamwork and representing Lakeside with excellence
- This position offers flexibility based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and business needs. While Lakeside Foods is headquartered in Manitowoc, WI, we welcome applicants who prefer to work remotely, on-site, or in a hybrid capacity. Travel expectations remain consistent regardless of work location.
