Overview

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to become part of our esteemed Women's Health Care Center located in Greensboro, NC. Position Highlights

• Become a member of a well-established practice that has been serving the Greensboro metropolitan area for over 40 years.
• Work in a modern office situated conveniently near Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
• Collaborate with a team that includes 10 physicians, 1 women's health nurse practitioner, and a supportive administrative staff.
• Enjoy a work schedule of 4.5 days per week, with no requirements for nights, weekends, on-call duties, or hospital shifts.
• Your responsibilities will include patient consultations, charting, returning calls regarding lab results, answering patient inquiries, providing education, electronically or telephonically sending prescriptions, and administering medications, among other patient care tasks.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic women's health issues.
• Provide counseling on contraception, fertility, and reproductive health options.
• Primarily focus on gynecological patients while also performing and assisting with certain minimally invasive procedures that can be conducted in the office.
• Manage a patient load of approximately 20-25 individuals per day.
• Experience a warm and encouraging work atmosphere with a clinical team dedicated to mentorship and professional development.

Requirements

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Active, unrestricted licensure in the state or the ability to secure it.
• Current unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain it.
• CPR, BLS, and NALS certifications or the ability to acquire them.
• Skilled in assessing and developing treatment plans.
• Strong communication skills with patients, team members, and management.
• Ability to make independent care decisions based on best medical practices without direct supervision from a physician.
• Preferred: At least one year of full-time experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
