Network Support Technician (Government)

Role Overview Network Support Technician (NST) provides onsite and remote Tier 2 support for IT issues, including hardware, software, applications, network diagnostics, and cloud services. The role requires prompt action and quick resolution to minimize downtime. The NST reports to an Area Technical Lead and provides IT Field Operations support for 24x7 LANs and associated applications. What You Will Do Provide LAN administrator support, install and configure network communication devices, servers, and network storage arrays. Support network attached devices, mobile and wireless devices, and assist in testing and maintaining server configurations and related security patches. Why It Might Be a Fit The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of IT‑related support experience, preferably in a helpdesk or customer support role. They will have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, or other IT issues. The candidate will also have excellent team skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
