Position Overview

AllBuild Contracting LLC is seeking a dependable and hardworking Restoration Technician to join our restoration team.

The Restoration Technician will perform hands-on mitigation and restoration work for residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other property damage . This position involves working directly on job sites, operating restoration equipment, documenting work, and assisting with projects from initial mitigation through completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, demolition, cleanup, and structural drying
• Set up, monitor, and remove air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and other restoration equipment
• Remove damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinetry, and other affected materials
• Assist with mold remediation and containment procedures
• Perform fire and smoke damage cleanup
• Take moisture readings and document drying progress
• Take job-site photos and maintain accurate project documentation
• Properly clean, maintain, and organize company equipment and vehicles
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Communicate professionally with customers and other team members
• Follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements
• Assist Project Managers and crew leaders with completing projects efficiently
• Respond to emergency water-loss and property-damage calls when required

Qualifications

• Restoration, mitigation, construction, demolition, or similar experience preferred
• IICRC WRT, ASD, AMRT, or other restoration certifications are a plus
• Experience with water extraction and structural drying equipment is a plus
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting equipment and materials
• Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined work areas when necessary
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and able to arrive at scheduled jobs on time
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
