Production Maintenance Mechanic

Build a Career That Matters as a Production Maintenance Mechanic Location: Lewisville, TX | Schedule: 2nd shift, 2pm to 10:30pm | Starting Payrate: $25/hour PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Production Maintenance Mechanic to support a leading food and beverage manufacturer. In this hands-on role, you'll help maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and keep production operating safely and efficiently. What You'll Do Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform preventive and scheduled maintenance Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Read equipment manuals and work orders to complete repairs efficiently Perform facility maintenance, including basic plumbing and carpentry Maintain maintenance logs, parts inventory, and shop organization Identify equipment issues, communicate with supervisors, and support continuous improvement Follow all safety procedures, cGMP requirements, and standard operating procedures What You'll Bring Required High school diploma or GED Craft apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance experience 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of PLCs and HVAC systems Experience with welding and plumbing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance Vacuum furnace experience Experience in food, beverage, or other regulated manufacturing environments Why Join PDS Tech Commercial?
