What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or actions taken according to post orders.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, packages, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site procedures to help support controlled entry and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Must be retired Law Enforcement.
- Must have RPO.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
