Lead Teacher (Early Childhood Education)
Location: The Learning Experience Jenison, MI
Pay: $16$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday

Lead Teacher Infant, Toddler, or Preschool Classrooms

The Learning Experience Jenison is seeking a caring and dependable Lead Teacher to guide classrooms serving infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children. This role focuses on creating engaging learning environments where children build confidence, independence, and strong early learning foundations.

This position is ideal for educators who enjoy leading a classroom team and supporting children through hands-on learning experiences and structured daily routines.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily classroom instruction and routines
Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities
Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
Support childrens social, emotional, and cognitive development
Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency
Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and activities
Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Prior childcare experience preferred
Experience leading or supporting a classroom preferred
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
