Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, which include physical exams and comprehensive evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by analyzing imaging and laboratory results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to create and carry out personalized surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance by preparing operating areas, ensuring patient safety, and efficiently managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, involving medication management, wound treatment, discharge protocols, and patient education efforts

Education and Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid certification as a PA-C
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
