What You'll Do

As a Procedure Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting physicians and ensuring patients receive outstanding care throughout their treatment journey. No two days are exactly alike, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and staying engaged.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and room patients for office visits and procedures
• Review and update patient medical histories
• Obtain and document vital signs
• Explain procedures and obtain required consent forms
• Prepare treatment and procedure rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
• Assist providers during medical procedures
• Provide patients with pre- and post-procedure instructions
• Schedule appointments and coordinate procedure scheduling
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR/EHR systems
• Clean, stock, and organize exam and procedure rooms
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as needed to support the team

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Current Medical Assistant certification or credential strongly preferred
• Minimum of two years of Medical Assistant experience preferred, ideally within a specialty or procedure-based setting
• Experience working with EMR/EHR systems
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented environment

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Flexibility is required, as schedules may adjust based on procedural needs and operational demands
