People Communications & Engagement Lead

The People Communications and Engagement Lead position is in the Organizational Effectiveness group, on the People Communications and Engagement team. This position focuses on change management strategy, planning and delivery. In addition, the position also supports the vision and mission of the People Communications team at Sidley and is responsible for working with the team to build the foundation of People Communications to support the vision. This position will primary work to manage and drive change management and communications for projects in the Data and AI space, though that could change as the team and work evolve.Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct change impact assessment across audiences and phases of the project.Develop change management and communication strategies and plans based on change impact assessment results.Collaborate with the people communications team to create and deliver project communications, leveraging existing standards, processes, tools and templates.Collaborate with Learning and Development team to determine training strategies and approaches and help execute training.Develop change network strategy and plan and lead change network activations.Plan and manage firm-wide communications initiatives associated with Data and AI.Contribute to firm-wide communications initiatives associated with all departments or administrative committees.Oversee content creation and editing on all firm communication platforms (@Sidley, Sidley TV, etc.).Drive and refine over-arching communication plan, approach and methodology.Consult with department managers, directors and subject matter experts regarding change and communications needs.Lead and participate in strategic initiatives for the People Communications team.Education and/or Experience: Required:Bachelor’s degree in communications, psychology, or other relevant areaExcellent writing and grammar skillsPrior change management and communications experienceSuperior knowledge of the MS Office SuitePreferred:Previous experiencing doing change management or communications for Data and AI tool implementations.Other Skills and Abilities:The following will also be required of the successful candidate:Strong organizational skillsStrong attention to detailGood judgmentStrong interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to work harmoniously and effectively with othersAble to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretionAble to work under pressureAble to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities#LI-Hybrid#LI-MR1The target salary range for this role is:107,000 - $147,200 if located in Illinois.Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
