Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence at assigned facilities to deter unauthorized activity.
• Patrol premises on foot or by vehicle, following established routes and schedules.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control devices.
• Conduct routine inspections of doors, windows, and other entry points to ensure they remain secure.
• Respond promptly to incident reports, alarms, and calls for assistance, documenting all actions taken.
• Enforce company policies, local regulations, and legal requirements without the use of firearms.
• Prepare detailed daily reports, incident logs, and shift handover documentation.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required state security certifications.
• Strong observational and situational awareness skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, and respond to emergencies for extended periods.
• High level of integrity, dependability, and punctuality.

Desired Experience

• Prior experience in unarmed security, loss prevention, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic security technology (CCTV, alarm panels, access control) is advantageous.
• Experience interacting with diverse groups of people in a professional setting.
