The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the inventory of the warehouse and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. The ultimate goal of this role is to procure, process, dispatch, and deliver/transport products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDaily loading and unloading of productsAssist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customersReceive, inspect, and stock all merchandiseVerify all items received to items ordered for accuracyPick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as neededCollect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center ManagerResponsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returnsAppropriate use and maintenance of OF deviceAssist with physical inventory and inventory controlRead customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shippedProvide excellent customer service to external customersEnsure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer trafficAdhere to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job dutiesWear appropriate PPEPerform other duties as assigned
