Per Diem Position: This role is on an as-needed basis. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on site needs. Officers are contacted for available shifts and may accept based on availability.

Compensation and Anticipated Hours: $24.83/hour

Job Summary: In this role Physical Security Officers (PSO's) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. PSO's may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. Additionally PSOs may be asked to work with a firearm. The PSOs mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.

Job Duties / Essential Functions: Delivering high end customer service, Responding to emergencies, Deterring and preventing crime, Performing ingress/ egress control procedures, Investigating incidents, Completing daily logs and incident reports, Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols, Building and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers, De-escalating conflicts, Monitoring CCTV cameras, Performing other related duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications: ACT 235 (current), 21 years of age, Current and valid DL, High school diploma or GED, (1) year experience in armed security recommended, Must be able to pass PAT and ASO course, Must be able to pass drug screen, Excellent written and oral communication skills, Proficient time management skills, Reliable transportation, Excellent de-escalation skills, Proficient firearms skills, Extensive use of force knowledge, Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements

Appearance: Officers shall maintain their hair in a neat, clean, and combed professional appearance. Beards and mustaches must be clean and neatly trimmed.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Ability to work under stress / pressure, Ability to lift 25 pounds, Ability to wear a uniform, Ability to pass Physical Agility Test (PAT), Ability to use force, up to and including deadly force, when reasonably justified
