Registered Nurse - Oncology (Travel) | Cumming, Georgia, United States
Start date: 06/22/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Weekly pay: $1,553-$1,636 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week | Shift: 12-hour nights (7pm-7am) on a 12x3 schedule
This travel assignment is in a high-acuity unit with telemetry, staffed by professionals in a hospital setting. The role supports an oncology specialty while operating on a Med/Surg-oriented unit described as Acute Pulmonary Unit with telemetry capabilities. A travel engagement through Healthforce Healthcare LLC is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients on an acute pulmonary/med-surg unit with telemetry.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient status, manage IVs, and interpret telemetry; respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans; document care in Cerner EMR.
- Ensure patient safety and quality of care, including admissions, transfers, and discharges; provide patient and family education.
- Maintain compliance with AHA BLS requirements; ACLS certification preferred; uphold unit policies and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the specialty/unit
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Ability to provide care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients on a telemetry-enabled unit
- Willingness to work a 12-hour night shift on a travel assignment
