Occupational Therapist (OT) Home Health PRN - Austin, TX (23014)

TheraCare is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN home health opportunity providing in-home occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients throughout Austin, TX and surrounding areas. Job Responsibilities Perform home health occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations for adult and geriatric patients Develop and update individualized Plans of Care (POC) Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, post-surgical, or other medical conditions Address ADLs, IADLs, coordination, strength, balance, and functional mobility Apply manual therapy techniques and non-complex modalities, including heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and other physician-ordered treatments Implement interventions for fall prevention, home safety, and environmental modifications Train patients and caregivers in adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment (DME) Fabricate splints and recommend assistive devices as appropriate Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Supervise COTAs and home health aides, as applicable Follow all home health regulations, infection control, and safety standards Patient Population Adults and seniors Post-surgical recovery Stroke and neurological conditions Chronic pain and mobility limitations Fall-risk patients in the home setting Qualifications Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Texas or eligible Compact OT Licensure Home Health experience (1 year required) HomeCareHomeBase (HCHB) experience (preferred) Current CPR certification Strong communication, clinical judgment, and time-management skills Knowledge of home health regulations and Medicare guidelines preferred Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance Benefits Competitive Compensation Package Mileage Reimbursement Over-Productivity Pay Comprehensive Health, Vision, and Dental Plan Options Supplemental Benefits (Life, Disability, and Accident Insurance) 401(k) with Matching Contributions Paid time off (Vacation/Sick/Holiday) for Full-Time Employees CEU Reimbursement Employee Recognition Program with Financial Rewards We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cantex Continuing Care Network
