Job Description
Radiology Technologist Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 - 15:30). Job Description We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to support our imaging department. The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures and maintaining a high standard of patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures including 3 Phase, Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Gastric Emptying, GE*, HIDA Scan, and PET Scan.
- Utilize the Epic charting system for documentation and patient care management.
- Start and maintain IVs as necessary for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and the safe handling, storing, and disposal of radioactive materials.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV Teams, Interpretation Services, and Radiology.
- Float between hospital facilities as required by the department.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous charge experience.
- Valid ARRT N, CNMT, or NMTCB certification required.
- Experience using Epic charting system preferred.
- California state license in hand.
- References covering at least one year of experience within the last three years are required.
