Growing Delaware firm seeks an AR/AP Specialist with proven experience handling multiple entities and bank accounts. In this role, you will assist with financial reporting, tax compliance, updating payroll records, processing vendor invoices, preparing annual tax forms, assisting the front desk as needed, resolving accounting discrepancies, maintaining accounting files, providing assistance with the month end close process and assisting with the annual audit process. The ideal AR/AP Specialist for this role should have a not-for-profit background, have a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and great time management skills.

Major Responsibilities

·      Process, verify and reconcile incoming invoices

·      Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions

·      Generate client invoices

·      Post incoming payments

·      Analyze workflow processes

·      Prepare payment schedules

·      Ensure bills and payroll are paid timely/accurately

·      Assist with collecting on past due accounts

·      Prepare financial reports

The ideal AR/AP Specialist will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.

Other requirements for the AR/AP Specialist role include and are not limited to:

·      3+ years of AP/AR experience

·      Proficient Microsoft Office skills, advanced Excel

·      Yardi Voyager experience preferred

·      Must have excellent communication skills

·      Outstanding time management and multi-tasking abilities
