This role pays $2,998 per week and follows an Evenings shift with a 5x8 schedule. In this travel MRI Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients, visitors, and equipment for MRI safety, including implants and ferromagnetic objects
• Position patients and select the appropriate coils and imaging sequences for each study
• Administer gadolinium contrast when ordered, following facility protocol
• Obtain diagnostic-quality images, adjusting parameters to manage motion and artifacts, and provide completed studies to radiologists

Travel MRI Tech Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent MRI Tech experience.
• Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Virginia and national regulatory bodies.
