About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Workers Compensation Claims to provide strategic and operational leadership for its North East Workers Compensation Claims Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of a large team, including 5-6 senior level direct reports and more than 300 workers compensation claims professionals. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Workers Compensation Claims include setting and implementing the unit's strategic vision, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices, and driving continuous improvement in claims management processes. The role also involves fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional development within the team. This is a senior leadership role that requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing senior leaders, significant TPA-specific experience, and a strong background in client management. The ideal candidate will have a substantial amount of experience in workers' compensation claims throughout their career, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and its specific requirements. The position is pivotal in maintaining the company's reputation for high-quality service and client satisfaction, and the Vice President will be expected to lead by example, championing the company's values and ensuring the delivery of exceptional results.
