Echo Technologist

Location: Newport, Vermont

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, Monday - Friday, 5 days per week

Job Description: An Echo Technologist position is available at a Critical Access Hospital located in the Northeast Kingdom. This role involves performing echocardiograms and providing support in the cardiovascular imaging department.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiography exams and related procedures
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during examination
• Maintain and operate echocardiography equipment
• Document and interpret ultrasound results accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
• Certification or registry through a recognized body, such as ARDMS
• Previous experience in echocardiography preferred
