Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,637.00 to $1,702.00 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Days. Setting: acute-care hospital Med/Surg unit on a dedicated education unit. Travel assignment; temporary.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients on a 30-bed unit
- Perform patient assessment, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to clinical changes
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; manage patient safety and comfort
- Assist with bedside procedures and post-procedure care as ordered
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients and families
- Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and infection prevention measures
- Note: This is a dedicated education unit; travel nurses will NOT be educating patients, but will focus on direct patient care and clinical tasks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience in a level 1 trauma or mid-to-large hospital setting
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment and on a 30-bed Med/Surg unit with patient ratios around 5–6:1
- Valid healthcare credentialing and eligibility to practice in the clinical setting
- Willingness to travel and participate in a temporary assignment
