Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 14 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, rotating\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 14 weeks\n Openings: 3\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2 years of recent L&D and OR circulator experience and active MA RN licensure.Details\n \n Labor and Delivery unit with 9 labor rooms, 2 operating and recovery rooms, and 5 triage rooms\n High-volume unit with approximately 3,000 deliveries per year\n 12-hour PM shift with day/night rotation (7p-7:30a & 7a-7:30p)\n Every other weekend and every other holiday required\n 36 hours per week\n Requirements\n \n Active MA RN license required\n Current BLS and NRP certifications required, with NRP not expiring during the assignment\n 2 recent years of L&D RN experience and OR circulator experience required\n CNM experience will not be considered\n Must independently read and interpret telemetry strips and pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with 85% or higher\n Evidence of completed Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required, AWHONN preferred\n High-risk obstetrics experience preferred\n Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation course preferred\n Epic EMR experience required\n Previous travel nursing experience required\n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct patient care in a high-volume labor and delivery setting\n First-time travelers will not be considered for this role\n Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for local rates\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-757279.
