Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Data Lead with 12+ years of expertise in Data Management, Data Governance, and Information Management within the Oil & Gas or Energy sector. The role will lead enterprise-wide data initiatives, ensure data quality and governance compliance, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive analytics and reporting solutions using SQL and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data management activities across engineering, operations, and capital projects.
• Establish and maintain data governance, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, client requirements, and industry data standards.
• Manage data collection, validation, integration, cleansing, migration, and handover processes.
• Develop KPI dashboards, analytical reports, and business insights using SQL and Power BI.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor governance metrics and drive continuous data quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and support data analysts, data controllers, and project data teams.
• Support digital transformation, automation, and business intelligence programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, reliable, and timely data.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Information Management.
• Strong Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Energy industry experience.
• Expertise in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Quality processes.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, MS Access, and reporting/analytics solutions.
• Experience managing large-scale project data and global data initiatives.
• Strong customer management, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Data Management, Data Governance, SQL, Power BI, PMP, Azure, or Data Science.
• Experience with business intelligence, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of information management and data handover processes.
