School Speech Language Pathologist - Austin, Texas

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current, valid state licensure or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Write and maintain detailed progress notes and required reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEPs
• Provide consultation and strategies to classroom teachers and parents
• Promote awareness and understanding of communication disorders within the school setting
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
