Job Title: PACU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Description: Data Collection: Unit Information: Number of Beds - 14 Number of Staff - 16 Type of Staff: Day Shift - 1 charge and 6 staff nurses Night Shift - 2 overnight staff Patient Ratios - 1:1 or 1:2. EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile: Skill Set Most recruited for: Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player. Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or nice to have: Candidates with these skills will be considered first. List of typical procedures performed: Endoscopy procedures, Hernia repairs, Myomectomy, Hysterectomy, Nephrectomy, joint repair/replacements, lumbar fusions, and most other general surgeries. Best personality fit: Team player, good attitude, willingness to help. Required Certifications: Floating Area(s): Pre-op Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. On call: Once per night every two weeks. Shifts needing to fill are 9A-9P, 9P-9A, or 9P-7A. General Comments: 1 Position Available.
