ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, including reviewing medical records and addressing patient concerns. Obtain informed consent from patients prior to procedures, ensuring they fully understand the risks, benefits, and alternatives. Administer IV medications and monitor patient vital signs during procedures. Assist with patient positioning, ensuring comfort and safety. Provide post-operative care, including pain management and monitoring patient recovery. Educate patients on post-operative care instructions and answer any questions. Surgical Assistance: Prepare the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment. Assist the physician during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition. Documentation: Accurately document patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Maintain detailed records of surgical procedures and post-operative recovery.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of California. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. 2+ years of experience in Women's Health, Fertility, or OB/GYN preferred. 3+ years of total nursing experience. Strong clinical skills, including IV administration, medication administration, and patient assessment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
