Job Details Job Location: Artesia, NM 88210 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Diploma / GED Salary Range: $15.00 - $23.00 Hourly Job Shift: Any Job Category: Nursing ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Obtain and document patient vitals. Perform bedside testing. Perform basic nursing procedures such as oral care, perineal/foley care, non-sterile soaks, or thermal applications. Ensure cleanliness of office and examination rooms. Clean and store equipment. Maintain supply inventory and re-stock as required. Perform basic clerical duties as needed. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: As assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES: Knowledge of basic nursing and patient care. AGE-RELATED COMPETENCIES: Demonstrates the basic knowledge and skills necessary to identify age-specific patient needs appropriate for this position. Information Management: Treats all information and data within the scope of the position with appropriate confidentiality and security. Risk Management/Quality Management/Safety: Cooperates fully in all Risk Management, Quality Management, and Safety Activities and Investigations. MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education – High school diploma or equivalent; plus specialized, short-term training in basic patient care. Work Experience – clinic setting preferred. Training – Formal nursing assistant and/or medical assistant training required. License/Certification – Certification in Nurse Assisting or Certification in Medical Assisting preferred.
