Lead Transportation Projects That Shape Communities Our client, a respected and growing multidisciplinary engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of roadway and drainage projects across public infrastructure markets. Similar job titles Senior Civil PE – Transportation Engineer Transportation Engineering Project Manager (PE) Roadway Project Manager (PE) – Transportation Design Responsibilities Manage and deliver transportation engineering projects involving roadway design, drainage systems, intersections, and civil infrastructure improvements. Lead projects through planning, design, permitting, bid, and construction support phases. Oversee project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables. Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, calculations, reports, and technical documentation. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, EITs, and CAD designers. Coordinate with clients, municipalities, agencies, and subconsultants throughout project execution. Support permitting and agency approvals with state DOTs and local jurisdictions. Participate in construction administration including field visits, submittal reviews, and progress meetings. Ensure designs meet applicable standards, regulations, and quality requirements. Support client management and contribute to business development efforts.
