Night Auditor

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local hotel in Morris, IL to hire a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor. This position is responsible for overseeing overnight hotel operations, processing guest transactions, reconciling daily financial activity, and providing exceptional guest service during late-night hours.

Pay Rate

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule

11:00 PM - 7:00 AMMust be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and perform check-in/check-out procedures
• Process guest payments and handle front desk transactions accurately
• Complete nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily financial records
• Reconcile guest service paperwork, credit card transactions, and hotel revenue reports
• Post room charges and distribute guest folios
• Process daily closeout reports and maintain front desk log books
• Handle guest mail, messages, and other guest service requests
• Respond to guest questions and resolve concerns professionally
• Serve as the primary hotel representative during overnight hours
• Follow all hotel safety and security procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Assist with additional front desk and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of hotel front desk, night audit, or accounting experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and reconcile financial information
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel management software
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, and crouching
• Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items as needed
