Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Location: Aventura, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong cath lab experience and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include performing various procedures in the cardiac cath lab, including catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheterizations, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are available and functioning prior to procedures.
• Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately in the Meditech and MacLab systems.
• Notify the Program Manager of any declined or rejected matches.
• Maintain a high level of care and safety while working with patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• CVL Tech certification.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab; EP experience preferred.
• Preferred certifications: CVT, RCIS, and/or RT.
