State Farm Independent Contractor Agent

State Farm agents market only State Farm insurance and financial service products. Responsibilities include establishing customer relationships and following up with customers, as needed. Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options. Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements include interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs, excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening, being people-oriented, detail oriented, proactive in problem solving, able to learn computer functions, and ability to work in a team environment.

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents' employees are not employees of State Farm. Compensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.

We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance. Our office is located in Madison, WI. Our office is open 9-7 Mon-Thurs, 9-5 Fri, and 9-12 Sat. I have been a State Farm agent since 2007. Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Employee. I am a proud graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison. Our agency has received awards including: Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, National Quality Award, Bronze Tablet, and New Agent Program Qualifier.
