Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for facility and equipment maintenance for all regional clinics and buildings under the guidance of the Facilities Director.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary duties and responsibilities required:Major housekeeping services, i.e., carpet cleaning, exterior/interior cleaning and painting, janitorial duties as assignedCarpentry, drywalling, roofing, siding, window and door replacementBasic plumbing and electrical repairsFurniture moving and relocationBasic concrete workTroubleshooting in facility and equipment systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, structures, and vehicles.Perform routine maintenance duties related to any/all Lifeskills’ Community Apartments/Duplexes, to include lawn work, landscaping, interior/exterior repairs/painting, and inspections.Other duties as required/assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:High school education or equivalent required.Two years relevant experience preferred.Must demonstrate the ability to read and follow technical instructions and specifications.Requires abilities in general maintenance including facility/equipment, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and structural systems.Must possess good communication skills working with vendors and other contractors.Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.Must have proof of a recent (less than 1-year-old) TB skin test and pass a Criminal Record Check.Heavy lifting may be required.JOB REQUIREMENTS / EXPECTATIONS:Requires abilities in general maintenance including facility/equipment, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and structural systems.Must possess good communication skills working with vendors and other contractors and staff,Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.Must have proof of a recent (less than 1-year-old) TB skin test and pass a Criminal Record Check.Heavy lifting may be required.CORE VALUES:All employees must be willing to live our company's core values.Integrity – Exhibiting the highest moral, ethical and legal standards.
