Warehouse Assistant / Delivery Driver

Job Description Job Description The Warehouse Assistant / Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and completing local delivery and pickup routes. This role includes material handling, operating a propane forklift, driving company delivery trucks, and assisting with inventory control. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, safety‐focused, and communicates well with team members and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and pick up products using company delivery trucks
Operate propane forklift and dolly safely and efficiently
Perform material handling duties, including loading and unloading products
Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
Assist with general warehouse operations and organization
Work with electrical and propane‐related materials as required
Maintain safety standards and follow company procedures at all times
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and customers
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle materials and equipment
Qualifications & Requirements
2–3 years of related warehouse and delivery experience required
High School Diploma or GED
Experience operating a propane forklift and dolly
Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Physically strong and able to meet job demands
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
Previous experience working around electrical and propane systems
Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse safety practices
