Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• Proficiency in Surgical, GI, GU, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Cytology, Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, and Blood Bank procedures
• Experience with rapid adequacy assessments for image-guided biopsies
• Familiarity with Epic EMR documentation system
• Ability to perform blood bank calls and interpret complex lab results
• Strong attention to detail and excellent diagnostic skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification or experience in cytopathology, specifically GYN cytology
• Prior experience working in a hospital-based, CAP-accredited laboratory
• Comfort working with Leica cryostats and Olympus BX40 microscopes
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with a team of pathologists and laboratory technologists

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree with valid medical licensure
• Minimum of 3-5 years of pathology experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing process takes approximately 90 days; timely submission of credentials is essential
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work day shifts, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with call responsibilities (1:7 ratio)
