About the Team
As a member of the Connected Finances team, you will be at the forefront of the open banking revolution, leveraging external financial data to create personalized, high-impact experiences for Capital One customers. Our team is tasked with building a scalable, enterprise-grade platform that empowers all Lines of Business to unlock significant value through use cases like credit underwriting, fraud prevention, and tailored onboarding. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the customer experience strategy, specifically standardizing how users consent to and manage their data sharing. You will act as a strategic bridge, collaborating with cross-functional partners to translate complex business needs into a clear technical roadmap that balances immediate delivery with long-term platform resilience. By utilizing experimentation, data insights, and AI-driven development, you will help define the future of how Capital One integrates with the broader financial ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product Management

New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Manager, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
