Placement Strategist - Insurance & Client Relations

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh as a Placement Specialist. This hybrid role requires working at least three days a week in the office. The successful candidate will lead daily operations from a support and administrative level, coordinating complex logistics and task assignments for client relationship projects while ensuring effective communication and problem resolution. Responsibilities Develop and implement placement strategies to meet client needs and achieve growth goals, providing exceptional client service. Facilitate submission of coverage specifications, obtain quotes from carriers, and bind coverage with accuracy and compliance. Build and maintain strong relationships with practice teams, insurance markets, clients, carriers, and underwriters to deliver cohesive client service. Advisely support clients and internal teams on changing insurance and risk management market conditions, supporting client retention and new business production. Drive senior placement and technical support activities, ensuring procedural compliance, accurate data management, and contract execution. Qualifications Significant risk expertise and deep knowledge of the insurance industry and carriers. Experience in placement strategy development and execution. Strong communication skills to advise management and clients on market trends and client issues. Ability to manage complex logistics and coordinate across multiple stakeholders. Proven track record in client service and relationship management. Preferred Qualifications Experience participating in pricing of services and go-to-market strategy development. Familiarity with assist, advise, and assume transaction models. Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and client teams to develop innovative solutions. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office‑based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person. The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,500 to $197,100. The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
