Job Title: General Manager / HVAC License Holder
Location: Greater Winston-Salem / Piedmont Triad Area, NC
Compensation: $80,000 to $125,000 Base Salary ($120,000 to $180,000 Total Target Compensation)
Job Type: Full Time
About Our Company We are an established HVAC contractor with over 30 years of history providing exceptional service in the Piedmont Triad region. Customer service and integrity are the core of our business. We believe in doing what we say we are going to do and following through on our commitments to both our customers and our colleagues. Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking a General Manager to lead our dedicated staff of nine employees and hold the company HVAC license.
What You Will Do
- Run daily operations and oversee both office staff and field technicians.
- Identify, establish, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive growth.
- Implement new systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Assess current team dynamics and train staff to operate under a unified, positive culture.
- Provide field support, including performing hands on repairs and installations when necessary.
- Serve as the licensed qualifier for the business.
- Remain available for after hours operational support and escalations.
What We Are Looking For
- Active North Carolina HVAC License (Qualifications to run an HVAC business in NC are required).
- 5 years of proven experience in the HVAC industry.
- Strong leadership, active listening, and technical expertise.
- Physical ability to perform field repairs and installations.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check.
- A positive, productive mindset with the ability to work well with a wide range of people.
- Preferred: A strong local network, financial background, and experience in both residential and commercial HVAC.
