About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Transplant Service Profession: RN Specialty: Transplant Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Willingness to assist and adapt to various responsibilities. - Proficient in computer skills including Meditech and Microsoft applications. Description: Position is for a travel RN in the Transplant Service department. This role primarily involves desk work with necessary computer skills. It may also include clinic days for rooming and assessing patients. Flexibility in patient assignments is essential, including pre, waitlist, and post solid organ transplant patients. The candidate should maintain a caring and compassionate demeanor while attending to complex psychosocial needs of patients. Experience in transplant nursing is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) and Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) is a plus. Ideal candidates will have the ability to adapt to varying patient caseloads and responsibilities. The dress code is royal blue scrubs or business casual attire.
