Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad range of emergency medical conditions

Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice

Stabilize critically ill and injured patients

Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations

Collaborate with residents, specialists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care

Accurately document patient encounters using Meditech

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)

Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program required

Ultrasound Fellowship preferred

Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure

Current DEA registration

ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, as required
