The Part-time/On-Call Executive Shuttle Driver performs technical support engineering from detailed procedures in such areas as Maintenance, Transportation support, Inventory/Warehouse support, and Test and Engineering Operations. Responsibilities * Ensure safe trips to and from the secure area and other buildings at the Air Force Base. * Assemble or install equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting. * Perform simple or routine tasks or tests, like operating and adjusting simple test equipment, operating vehicles, handling equipment, and maintaining various records. * Gather and maintain specified records of engineering data, like tests, drawings, inventory records, and maintenance records, etc. * Perform computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas, plotting data, and drawing simple curves and graphs. * Conduct maintenance operations. * Function independently to resolve problems, advising staff members to meet established objectives. * Perform maintenance and other logistics functions on fielded systems. * Maintain inventory, prepare order quantities, and track resupply activities. * Perform fleet planning, operation, and maintenance. * Prepare materials for shipping. * Operate test and diagnostic equipment. * Operate handling equipment. * Operate/drive various vehicles. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent GED required * Valid driver's license * CDL required * Public Trust and NACI required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Ability to professionally greet passengers. * Mechanical aptitude and the ability to conscientiously follow written and verbal instructions. * Proper use of standard hand tools and material handling equipment. * Operation of heavy equipment, including trucks and forklifts, for general material handling. * Ability to maintain a driver's license. * Ability to lift boxes, packages, and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds using proper equipment and lifting techniques. * Physically fit with full use of arms, legs, and back. * Ability to obtain and maintain required training and certifications. * Ability to use computers to search for and generate information using Microsoft Office. * Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
