Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHealthcare HR Generalist / RecruiterLocation: Dearborn, MI Job Type: Full-Time Pay: Based on Experience $22-25/hrPosition OverviewRiverside Commons is seeking a motivated and adaptable Healthcare HR Generalist / Recruiter to join our growing organization. This position is ideal for a moderately experienced HR professional who has worked in a healthcare environment, excels at recruiting, and is interested in expanding their responsibilities as the position evolves.The successful candidate will be organized, approachable, and comfortable balancing high-priority recruitment needs with day-to-day HR responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can contribute immediately while remaining flexible and eager to grow with our team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offers, and onboardingDevelop effective strategies for recruiting qualified healthcare professionalsBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future staffing needsPartner with managers to understand hiring needs and improve recruitment outcomesCoordinate new-hire orientation, onboarding documentation, and pre-employment requirementsMaintain accurate and confidential employee recordsAssist with employee relations, performance management, attendance, and corrective-action processesSupport benefits administration, leave requests, workers’ compensation, and other HR programsHelp ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and federal, state, and local employment lawsTrack recruiting activity and provide staffing updates to leadershipAssist with employee engagement, retention, policy development, and other HR initiativesTake on additional responsibilities as the position and organization growRequired QualificationsPrevious Human Resources experience within a healthcare organization is requiredStrong experience in recruitment, particularly sourcing and hiring healthcare professionalsApproximately 2 or more years of HR and/or recruiting experience preferredWorking knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee confidentialityStrong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple openings and priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable using applicant-tracking systems, HR software, job boards, and Microsoft OfficeProfessional, dependable, and able to handle sensitive information with discretionWillingness to learn, adapt, and grow into additional HR responsibilitiesPreferred QualificationsSome College in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related fieldExperience recruiting clinical and nonclinical healthcare positionsFamiliarity with healthcare credentialing, background checks, licensing, and compliance requirementsWhat We OfferA collaborative and supportive work environmentAn opportunity to help shape and grow the HR functionProfessional development and advancement opportunitiesAla-Carte Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off 401k with 10% Contribution MatchIf you are a resourceful healthcare HR professional with a passion for recruitment and a desire to grow with an organization, we encourage you to apply.Please submit your résumé along with a brief summary of your healthcare recruiting experience.Riverside Commons is an equal opportunity employer.
