Director of Nursing (DON)

WeCare Centers at The Green Home Care Center is hiring an experienced  Director of Nursing (DON)  to lead our  Skilled Nursing  community in  Wellsboro, PA. This opportunity is ideal for a proven SNF or LTC nursing leader seeking stability, support, and the ability to make a real impact.

• Lead a stable nursing team with strong administrative and corporate clinical support

• Play a key role in survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing operations and ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations

• Lead, mentor, and retain nursing staff while promoting a positive clinical culture

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality resident care

• Manage staffing, infection control, and clinical performance outcomes

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program

• Active Pennsylvania RN license

• Prior leadership experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care strongly preferred

• Strong regulatory knowledge and proven leadership skills
