Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment to achieve departmental and personal goals. Will work with Product, Legal, IT, PR, Event, Multi-Media, and Executive Management Teams.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides written translation in the language pair of English and Chinese for subject matters including but not limited to white papers, catalogs, magazines, marketing materials, video subtitles, power points, website content, company policies, business programs, etc. Proofreads and edits translation to ensure its accuracy, contextual relevance, and cultural sensitivityWorks with various departments on localizations in both source and target languagesBuilds and maintains glossaries of the most used Chinese dialects for all market countriesFollows translation, departmental, company SOPsEducation and ExperienceNativeChinesespeakers preferredBachelors degreeThree to five years of experience in Chinese/English written translation, interpretation, proofreading of legal, scientific, financial, advertising, and/or marketing materials preferredOr combination of equivalent experience, education, and training.SkillsStrong oral and written communication skills in both languagesProficient in computer software and applications such as MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Internal workflow tools.Critical thinking and problem-solving ability; excellent organizational and time management skills; attention to details; self-motivated and coachable on Market America specific translation workflows, styles and standardsBe able to work independently as well as in a teamMarket America is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.ase visit: SHOP.COMLocation: Greensboro, NC
