Certified Pharmacy Technician - Miami Beach, Florida

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy in Hollywood, FL. This contract position offers a 6-8 week assignment on the day shift, working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The ideal candidate will possess a Florida Pharmacy Technician license and have experience in retail or community pharmacy settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions according to pharmacy policies and procedures
Assist pharmacists in preparing medications and managing inventory
Provide excellent customer service and answer patient inquiries
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Process insurance claims and handle prescription records efficiently

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Florida
Previous experience in retail or community pharmacy environments
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Location:Hollywood, FL

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
