What sets us apart is our expertise, experience and commitment.Each day we dedicate ourselves to treating each other, our customers and our community with care and respect.OverviewResponsible for receiving incoming goods, preparing outbound freight, ensuring quality control processes are performed, managing inventory in an organized, optimal and efficient way as well as the transportation of materials and products in a safe manner using varying methods of product moving equipment including but not limited to forklifts, cranes and pallet jacks.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:Maintain an exceptionally organized, accurate and secure inventory based on 5S principles by processing material transactions in an online inventory management system with a high degree of accuracy and maintaining an accurate inventory with minimal variances by ensuring all material and components are stored in correct locations.Coordinate inbound and outbound freight and safely transport material and components in a timely manner to required work centers as well as completed manufacturing jobs to the warehouse using varying methods of transportation including but not limited to forklifts, cranes and pallet jacks.Performs warehouse functions including order picking, receiving, stocking, packing of parts for shipment as well as properly maintain all Work In Process (WIP), setting up purchase requisitions for consumables and accountable to prioritize the picking.Receive all packing and equipment lists for order fulfillment as well as receive shipment/transportation request and organize the transport in relation with the priority and availability of material.Receive and register incoming orders from suppliers or projects, check and file documentation related to incoming goods and integrate into inventory.Assist with completing the transportation request, organize the shipment of material, prepare all documents and assist in completing the request for certificate of origin.Assist with the invoicing initiation process including but not limited to approving and analyzing charges as well as keeping records of carriers/transportation companies, ensuring accurate and appropriate filing.Assist with contacting potential partners, comparing the costs and deadlines, handling the negotiations and selecting the appropriate partners depending on the destination and based on the packing list and invoice.Assists in completing the requests for customs documents, answers costing requests and handles all customs formalities at product and equipment's receipt.Register and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and quality records related to incoming goods.Assists in handling express mail every day for all departments as well as monthly physical inventory counts.Experience0-3 years of forklift operation.0-3 years of stand-up, reach forklift0-3 years of material handling in manufacturing environment0-3 years in a shipping/receiving environmentKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesCan lift up to 50 lbs.Prolonged periods of standing or walking throughout the shift.Frequent bending, stooping, and squatting to pick up items or load/unload products.Reaching overhead or across distances to grab items.Maneuvering equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.Using ladders or step stools to access higher shelves.Repetitive use of hands and arms for picking, packing, or sorting items.Potential use of warehouse machinery such as forklifts or cranes, which may require training and certification.Visual acuity for reading labels, scanners, or displays, as well as ensuring safety.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors for prolonged periods of time.Ability to sustain physical effort for the duration of shifts, which can be long, especially during peak periods.These requirements can vary depending on the specific type of equipment used or job scope #J-18808-Ljbffr
