Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and current Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification in Illinois
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited university
• Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsements
• Experience in school settings working with children and adolescents
• Strong communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation skills
• Adaptability and compassion in multicultural, dynamic educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide health assessments, develop care plans, and deliver skilled nursing services to students with acute or chronic health needs
• Administer health screenings, immunization tracking, and crisis intervention as required
• Support Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings with accurate health input and reports
• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify and address students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Consult with educators, families, and other professionals to guide interventions and support programs
• Implement evidence-based mental health strategies and behavior management plans in accordance with school policies
