Pay & Bonuses

• Mileage pay runs $0.56 to $0.64, scaled to your experience.
• Most drivers land $1,400 to $1,500 weekly.
• Pay is guaranteed for the first 3 months after your first solo dispatch.
• Performance bonus program available.
• $25 extra on any load under 100 miles.

Life on the Road

• About 2,000 -2,300  miles a week.
• Drop and hook makes up most of the freight, with some live load, live unload, and preload mixed in.
• Same planner covers the whole region, so you're not re-explaining your route every week.
• Day and night shifts both run, weekends included.
• Home once a week on a 34-hour restart; holidays are worked unless it lands on your home week.

What It Takes

• Brand new to trucking? Paid training runs 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer, $850 a week guaranteed while you learn, then full solo pay once you're through.
• 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school gets you in the door.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the past year, or 12+ months somewhere in the last 5.
• 21 or older, CDL matching your home state.
• Clean record required: no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5.
• Drug screening includes hair and urine testing.
• DD214 gets military experience counted toward your qualifications.

After 30 Days on the Job

• Health, dental, and vision kick in.
