We are seeking a reliable Class A Driver to operate commercial vehicles primarily on local and mixed routes. This solo driving position involves transporting agricultural commodities, liquid dairy manure, fresh vegetables, and flatbed cargo. The ideal candidate is committed to safety, performs thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, handles cargo carefully, and maintains clear communication with the fleet manager and customers. No overnight stays are expected, and the driver will be responsible for basic and some intermediate vehicle maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely on local and mixed routes
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Perform basic and intermediate vehicle maintenance as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Handle and secure agricultural commodities, liquid dairy manure, fresh vegetables, and flatbed cargo
• Navigate routes efficiently without overnight stays
• Maintain communication with fleet manager and customers

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of commercial truck driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, inspection, and cargo securement
• Strong understanding of safety standards compliance
• Effective communication skills
• Previous tank experience
